Description

The MikroTik RB760iGS hEX S is a compact, efficient, and user-friendly router equipped with a dual-core processor clocked at 880 MHz and 256 MB of RAM. In contrast to the hEX router, the hEX S features five Gigabit Ethernet ports, an SFP port, and PoE output on the last port. Both routers share the same processor and memory.

The router also includes a USB 2.0 port and a slot for microSD cards. The microSD card can be used for various purposes, including installing "The Dude" server. The new hEX also provides hardware support for IPSec encryption with throughput of up to ~470 Mb/s.

The device features PoE input on the first Ethernet port, supporting both 802.3af/at standards and passive PoE with a voltage range of 12 - 57 V DC. It can also be powered through a DC jack (with the same voltage range as passive PoE). A 24 V DC, 1.2 A power supply is included in the package.

The hEX S is designed for locations where wireless connectivity is not required. It is suitable for use in businesses or homes where advanced network control is needed. The device comes in a black desktop enclosure, distinguishing it from older products in the hEX series.
