OmniTik is a fully outdoor access point designed for outdoor use. It operates in the 5 GHz band, with a transmit power of 30 dBm (1000 mW), and it is compatible with the 802.11 a/n standards. The device is equipped with 5 fast Ethernet ports and 1 USB port for connecting a 3G modem or external disk. OmniTik features two omni-directional antennas with a gain of 7.5 dBi each, one in horizontal polarization and the other in vertical polarization.
The device is powered via passive PoE 11 - 30 V and can be mounted on a pole (a hose clamp is included in the package). A special cover in the housing protects all ports from atmospheric conditions. OmniTik runs on the RouterOS operating system with a Level 5 license.
The UPA version, compared to the basic one, offers the ability to power other devices. Ports 2 - 5 serve as PoE outputs, supplying power with the same voltage as supplied to the device. The maximum current is 1 A per port and 2 A for the entire device. Additionally, the UPA version has twice the amount of RAM - 128 MB - and a higher-level license.
