The MikroTik RouterBoard mAP is a compact access point operating in the 2.4 GHz band. It is the successor to the mAP 2n model and, unlike its predecessor, it features two built-in antennas (the mAP 2n had only one), utilizes 2x2 MIMO, and provides better throughput.
The mAP is equipped with two fast Ethernet ports, where the second port allows for powering another device through PoE (500 mA). This enables, for example, connecting a client device like SXT to the mAP and creating a subscriber set. The offered product comes with RouterOS system with a Level 4 license and two built-in antennas with a gain of 1.2 dBi and a transmit power of 17 dBm.
The device can be powered in various ways - through USB, PoE 802.3af/at, or DC plug (10 - 57 V). Its maximum power consumption is only 2 W.
