The MikroTik mANTBox ax 15s is a modern base station from the mANT series, designed for building high-performance point-to-multipoint connections. The device operates simultaneously in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands, supports the Wi-Fi 6 standard (802.11ax), and uses 2x2 MIMO dual-chain technology. Thanks to its integrated high-gain sector antenna and wide adjustment range, it can provide stable, long-distance connectivity over distances of up to 20 kilometres. The mANTBox ax 15s is perfectly suited for outdoor applications, including campsites, stadiums, parks, and industrial areas.

Wi-Fi 6 technology

The mANTBox ax 15s takes full advantage of the Wi-Fi 6 standard, providing higher throughput, improved stability, and enhanced connection security. Compared with the previous Wi-Fi 5 standard, it offers up to 40% higher transmission speeds in the 5 GHz band and up to 90% higher speeds in the 2.4 GHz band.
WPA3 encryption and management frame protection increase network security. The device also supports seamless roaming between access points and energy-saving technologies such as Target Wake Time.

High performance and reliability

At the heart of the device is an 800 MHz dual-core IPQ-5010 processor based on the ARM architecture, supported by 256 MB of RAM and 128 MB of NAND storage. This combination ensures smooth and stable operation, even under heavy loads.
The mANTBox ax 15s supports hardware-accelerated IPsec encryption, enabling secure VPN tunnels without compromising performance.

Integrated sector antenna

The device is equipped with a sector antenna offering 12 dBi gain at 2.4 GHz and 15 dBi gain at 5 GHz. The respective beamwidths are 90° and 60°, allowing large areas to be covered effectively.
Thanks to the antenna’s precise radiation pattern, several units can be installed on a single mast, increasing the number of supported clients while minimising mutual interference.

Installation and power supply

The mANTBox ax 15s can be powered in two ways – through a DC input (12–28 V) or passive PoE (18–28 V DC).
The package includes a 24 V / 1.2 A power adapter, Gigabit PoE injector, metal mounting clamp, and quickMOUNT PRO mounting bracket, which provides an adjustment range of up to 140° in both the vertical and horizontal planes.
