Top quality and performance in a compact form.
The hAP ax² is the latest generation of home routers, combining modern design with unmatched functionality. Thanks to Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) with Wave 2 support and a quad-core ARM processor, this router delivers exceptional performance and connection stability.
The MikroTik hAP ax² features the latest dual-band, dual-chain radio with 4–4.5 dBi antennas and the 802.11ax standard with Wave 2 support. Compared to the previous Wi-Fi 5 generation, depending on configuration, this translates to up to 40% higher speeds in the 5 GHz band and up to 90% higher speeds in the 2.4 GHz band.
Powered by a modern quad-core IPQ-6010 processor running at 864 MHz and paired with a solid 1 GB of RAM, the hAP ax² packs a punch when it comes to heavy workloads such as complex firewall rules, hardware-accelerated IPsec encryption, multi-threaded operations, or experimenting with the most advanced RouterOS features. With additional WPA3 encryption support, network users are safer than ever before.
Just like previous models, the MikroTik hAP ax² can be mounted vertically, horizontally, or even on a wall – without sacrificing signal strength.
The wireless interface supports the 802.11ax standard while maintaining backward compatibility with older wireless standards. Older client devices that only support 802.11ac can still benefit from many 802.11ac Wave 2 features such as MU-MIMO and beamforming.
