The MikroTik RouterBoard Groove 52 ac is a new addition to MikroTik's Groove series, consisting of compact outdoor wireless devices. It utilizes the IEEE 802.11ac standard and supports operation in both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands simultaneously. Equipped with a gigabit Ethernet port, it fully leverages the capabilities offered by the modern protocol.
The device features a built-in N-type male connector and can cooperate with a single-polarization antenna (single chain). The maximum channel width is 80 MHz in the 5 GHz band and 40 MHz in the 2.4 GHz band. Transmit power reaches 26 dBm in the 5 GHz band (24 dBm for 2.4 GHz). The Groove 52 ac is powered by a QCA9556 processor clocked at 720 MHz.
Groove 52 ac comes with RouterOS installed, with a Level 3 license. It is designed to be used as a client device in point-to-multipoint connections or point-to-point connections.
