The MikroTik Audience is a tri-band home access point, operating in three bands (2.4 GHz and high + low 5 GHz) with mesh technology.

The RBD25G-5HPacQD2HPnD is the first MikroTik router to have 3 radios:

• 2.4 GHz (2x2 MIMO)
• 5 GHz (2x2 MIMO)
• 5 GHz (4x4 MIMO + MU-MIMO)

The internal antennas have gains of 3.5 dBi in the 2.4 GHz band and 4.5 dBi in the 5 GHz band. MU-MIMO technology allows simultaneous data transmission and reception to 4 client devices, rather than sequentially to each, as in standard transmission in ordinary routers, which communicate with only one user at a time.

The Audience features a 4-core IPQ-4019 processor clocked at 716 MHz and 256 MB of RAM. It comes with 2x gigabit Ethernet ports and can be powered via passive PoE or PoE according to the 802.3af/at standard. A 24 V DC, 1.5 A power supply is included in the package.

This is an ideal solution for creating a Wi-Fi network in a large building with various obstacles (thick walls, ceilings, etc.). Just add more Audience devices to the existing network and seamlessly synchronize all models with the push of a button to create a single Wi-Fi network that covers the entire premises. Initial configuration is very simple and can be done using the MikroTik Mobile App on iOS or Android.

During official MikroTik tests, in some cases, a single Audience device was sufficient to replace several other routers and easily cover an area of up to 1858 m². The device's capabilities depend on the number of obstacles, Wi-Fi clients, and interference, so results may vary.

The wireless communication range in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands will solve most interference-related issues in crowded environments. For example, you can simultaneously use the 2.4 GHz channel for all home mobile devices and reserve the 5 GHz channel for your computer or TV.

IMPORTANT: Due to the use of Mesh technology, Audience in the 5 GHz band supports frequencies from 5180 to 5320 MHz. Frequencies from 5500 to 5825 MHz are used for communication between devices.
