The MikroTik Cloud Router Switch CRS326-24G-2S+IN is based on the CSS326-24G-2S+RM switch design with a significant addition of dual boot functionality, allowing users to choose between RouterOS or SwitchOS. This change is accompanied by two additional upgrades: the introduction of a 800 MHz processor and the use of 512 MB of RAM. With these improvements, the device is capable of handling certain Layer 3 router functions, firewall, NAT, and even VPN.
The CRS features 24 gigabit Ethernet ports and 2 SFP+ slots. The slots support both SFP and SFP+ modules. The SwOS system enables management via a web-based graphical interface, offering features such as port isolation, port mirroring, ACL lists, RSTP, and 802.1Q VLAN. The CRS326-24G-2S+IN provides all the basic managed switch features and more: port-to-port forwarding, MAC filtering, VLAN configuration, traffic duplication, bandwidth limitation, and even customization of certain MAC and IP header fields.
Its compact and fanless design makes the CRS326-24G-2S+IN a perfect addition to the best home setups. Despite its small size, this switch packs all the power and features of its larger rack-mounted "twin," the CRS326-24G-2S+RM, with no compromises. The device can be powered via passive PoE or DC plug, with an input voltage range of 9 - 30 V DC (a 24 V, 1.2 A power supply is included). The desktop-sized enclosure measures 284 x 144 x 44 mm and is suitable for desktop mounting.
