The MikroTik netPower 16P, also known as the Cloud Router Switch CRS318-16P-2S+OUT, is a managed 16-port outdoor switch with 16x Gigabit Ethernet ports and 2x SFP+ slots.
The switch features PoE outputs on all Ethernet ports: passive or 802.3af/at. It is equipped with 2 DC sockets, one for 18-30V power supply, and the other for 48-57V. Depending on the power supply used, different voltages can be provided to the powered devices. The device can be mounted on a pole, in an attic, or in a basement. Its outdoor enclosure allows installation in various environments - from damp attics to windy outdoor poles.
The switch is ideal for surveillance systems and networks consisting of access points. Thanks to the versatility of the output voltage, it can be used in different scenarios. The fiber optic ports provide high connection bandwidth, eliminating concerns about potential bottlenecks.
The maximum non-blocking throughput is 36 Gb/s, switching capacity is 72 Gb/s, and packet forwarding speed is 53.6 Mp/s. The switch features a dual boot option, allowing you to choose between RouterOS with a Level 5 license or SwitchOS. SwitchOS is suitable for Layer 2 management, while RouterOS offers more advanced functionality. The netPower 16P is equipped with a 800 MHz 98DX226S processor and 256 MB of RAM.
