Description

The MikroTik CRS309-1G-8S+IN is a managed switch equipped with 1 Gigabit Ethernet port and 8 SFP+ slots (10G). It features two operating systems (dual boot) - SwitchOS and RouterOS. The former is suitable for simpler applications, primarily for Layer 2 management. RouterOS enables the creation of advanced configurations, including routing (bearing in mind hardware limitations when utilizing Layer 3 functionality).

The device boasts a dual-core processor clocked at 800 MHz and 512 MB of RAM. It can be powered through a DC socket (voltage 12 - 57 V DC) or PoE (voltage 18 - 57 V DC, passive PoE or standard 802.3af/at). The maximum power consumption is 33 W, and a 24 V, 1.2 A power supply is included in the package. The device comes in a desktop enclosure, but it can be mounted in a 19" Rack cabinet if needed, with extended ears included.
