The CCR1036-8G-2S+ in the R2 version is a refreshed edition of the popular MikroTik router. It features a TLR4-03680 processor with 36 cores clocked at 1.2 GHz and 4 GB of RAM (in the new version, onboard memory is used instead of SODIMM). Additionally, an M.2 slot has been added, which was not present in the older version, along with a USB port (the older revision had a microUSB port). The most significant new feature is the inclusion of two built-in AC power supplies, which operate redundantly - in case of one failing, the other is utilized.
The offered product has 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 2 SFP+ slots (1G/10G). The processor used supports hardware encryption for IPSec and enables efficient VPN connections.
