The CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+PC is the latest version of MikroTik's router, succeeding the CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+PC. This device is equipped with 7 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 1 Combo Ethernet/SFP port, 1 SFP+ slot (10 Gbps), and a USB port. It features a powerful TILE-Gx9 processor with 9 cores, clocked at 1 GHz. Additional features include a touchscreen LCD display and support for smart cards and microSD memory cards.
In the new version, the SFP port has been changed to a Combo Ethernet/SFP port to increase the device's versatility. The device also supports speeds of 100 Mb/s on the SFP module (100BASE-LX/100BASE-SX/100BASE-BX), not just 1.25 Gbps. The new CCR1009 does not have a switch chip; each Ethernet port now operates independently and is directly connected to the processor. This change has increased the throughput from 16 Gbps to 18 Gbps.
The device is passively cooled and housed in a compact enclosure, which can be mounted in a 19" Rack cabinet using the included ears. It can be powered via PoE or DC plug (a 24V, 2.5A power adapter is included), and both power sources can operate redundantly.
