Description

CR1009-7G-1C-1S+ is the new version of the MikroTik router, succeeding the CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+. The device is equipped with 7 gigabit Ethernet ports, 1 combo Ethernet/SFP port, 1 SFP+ port (10 Gb/s), and 1 USB port. It features a powerful TILE-Gx9 processor with 9 cores clocked at 1.2 GHz. Additional functionalities include a touchscreen LCD and smart card support.

In the new version, the SFP port has been replaced with a Combo Ethernet/SFP port to enhance the device's versatility. It also supports a speed of 100 Mb/s on the SFP module (100BASE-LX/100BASE-SX/100BASE-BX), not just 1.25 Gb/s. The new CCR1009 does not have a switch chip; each Ethernet port operates independently and is directly connected to the processor. This design change has increased the throughput from 16 Gb/s to 18 Gb/s.
