The Huawei S6720-16X-LI-16S-AC is a managed switch equipped with 16 SFP+ slots. The device provides a packet forwarding speed of 240 Mp/s and a switching capacity of 1.28 Tb/s. It is well-suited for use as an access switch in various types of networks. It offers advanced traffic protection features, guarding against various types of attacks such as DoS, BPDU/root, IP/MAC spoofing, ARP spoofing, and many others. It also enables access control and provides multiple bandwidth control options (QoS) based on various types of information (DSCP, VLAN ID, ICMP type, etc.). Each port supports the creation of 8 queues using algorithms such as WRR, DRR, PQ, WRR+PQ, and DRR+PQ. The advanced QoS feature ensures excellent quality of service delivery for voice, data, and video services.

The switch can be managed via CLI or Huawei's Web NMS. The device supports SNMP v1/v2/v3, NTP, and SSH v2. It is compatible with the IPv6 protocol, including RIP and OSPFv3. The switch allows for Layer 3 management (both IPv4 and IPv6) and provides features such as static routing, RIP, OSPF, policy-based routing, routing policies, and VRRP.
