Huawei HN8145V5 is an advanced XG-PON ONT designed for use in modern FTTH networks. The device supports 10G/2.5G XG-PON technology, providing maximum data rates of up to 10 Gb/s downstream and 2.5 Gb/s upstream.
The terminal combines the functions of an ONT, wireless router, Ethernet switch and VoIP gateway in a single device. It is equipped with an SC/UPC optical connector, 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 1 RJ11 port and 2 USB ports – USB 2.0 and USB 3.0.
Wireless connectivity is provided by dual-band Wi-Fi 5 AC1200, operating simultaneously in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. Thanks to its wide range of interfaces, Huawei HN8145V5 can serve as the central network device in a home or small office.
Huawei HN8145V5 supports the XG-PON standard, which offers significantly higher bandwidth than conventional GPON. The maximum transmission speed reaches 10 Gb/s for downloading data and 2.5 Gb/s for uploading.
For comparison, the GPON standard provides up to 2.5 Gb/s downstream and 1.25 Gb/s upstream. XG-PON therefore enables support for significantly faster Internet access services.
The terminal uses an SC/UPC optical interface and supports a split ratio of up to 1:256. This makes it possible to connect more subscribers to a single PON port than with standard GPON infrastructure.
XG-PON also uses different wavelength ranges than GPON. As a result, both standards can coexist within the same fiber-optic infrastructure, allowing different PON technologies to be transmitted over a single optical fiber.
Huawei HN8145V5 provides wireless data transmission in two frequency bands – 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. The device supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n standards in the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac standards in the 5 GHz band.

Wi-Fi AC1200 enables comfortable Internet browsing, high-resolution video playback, streaming services and online gaming. The device also offers additional functions such as parental controls and Wi-Fi scheduling.
