Huawei XGBD – 8-Port XG-PON Interface Card for Huawei OLT

Huawei XGBD is a high-performance XG-PON (10G GPON) interface card designed for Huawei MA5600 series OLT terminals. Designed for modern FTTH fiber optic networks, it enables the delivery of broadband services with very high capacity. Thanks to eight XG-PON ports and support for a split ratio of up to 1:256 per port, the card is ideal for both expanding existing infrastructure and building new access networks.

Support for up to 2048 subscribers

The card is equipped with 8 XG-PON ports, each of which can support up to 256 ONT terminals. This allows connection of up to 2048 users in total, making Huawei XGBD an excellent solution for telecommunications operators and Internet service providers developing large-scale fiber optic networks.

High transmission capacity

Huawei XGBD provides data transmission compliant with the XG-PON standard, offering upstream speeds of up to 9.95 Gb/s and downstream speeds of up to 2.49 Gb/s. These parameters enable the delivery of modern services such as ultra-high-speed Internet, IPTV television, 4K and 8K video transmission, VoIP services, and business applications requiring stable and fast connections.

XG-PON optical modules included

Each port uses XG-PON N1 SFP+ optical modules operating with single-fiber bidirectional transmission technology (BiDi). The modules use a wavelength of 1577 nm for transmission and 1270 nm for reception, ensuring stable communication over distances of up to 20 kilometers using single-mode fiber.

Scalability for modern FTTH networks

Thanks to support for a 1:256 split ratio, the card enables significant reduction of network deployment costs by supporting a large number of subscribers from a single optical port. The solution is ideal for urban networks, residential networks, and large FTTH projects requiring high performance and easy scalability.
