The Huawei EG8145X6 is an ONT (Optical Network Terminal) client terminal designed for GPON networks. It is equipped with an SC/APC fiber optic connector, 4 gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mb/s), and 1 RJ11 telephone port. An additional advantage is the USB 2.0 port, allowing features like creating a SAMBA server. The device supports wireless network transmission and complies with the modern Wi-Fi 6 standard. Supported protocols include IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax (2.4 GHz) and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax (5 GHz). The maximum theoretical transmission throughput for WiFi is 3000 Mb/s - 574 Mb/s in the 2.4 GHz band and 2402 Mb/s in the 5 GHz band.

The maximum theoretical transmission throughput is 547 Mb/s in 2.4 GHz and 2402 Mb/s in 5 GHz.
The ONT terminal supports 2x2 MIMO, MU-MIMO (simultaneous data transmission and reception from multiple client devices), and Beamforming (shaping the beam to improve coverage). An additional advantage is WPA3, the latest data encryption standard, securing wireless transmission. Two external omnidirectional antennas, both featuring a gain of 5 dBi, are responsible for network broadcasting.
4x Gigabit Ethernet, 1x RJ11, 1x USB 2.0
The device is equipped with 4 gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mb/s), providing high connection throughput. Key devices, such as a console or PC, are recommended to be directly connected to the ONT via cable. The RJ11 port allows connecting a landline telephone and providing VoIP telephony to clients. Using the USB 2.0 port, you can create an FTP network drive or SAMBA server.
