The Optical GPON Terminals by HALNy, such as HL-1GE, are designed for operators and service providers seeking to expand the fiber optic capacity in their access networks. The HL-1GE acts as a GPON ONT, serving as a GPON Demarcation Device, specifically crafted to deliver cost-effective FTTH network access for both business and residential users. The design of HL-1GE ensures interoperability with various OLT providers and compliance with BBF.247 interoperability tests.
All GPON series products comply with the current ITU-T standards for gigabit passive optical networks (GPON). This solution aims to optimize deployment and service delivery for the provider. The products utilize a single fiber optic thread, connecting individual homes and businesses to the network, enabling the provision of broadband services with gigabit throughput. The flexible product design allows for the utilization of various features and available interfaces. All devices inherently possess Layer 2 functionality, including advanced support for L2 VLAN, L2 QoS, Multicast IGMP, as well as router and NAT functions in a single device.
HALNy's ONT/ONU products are tested and confirmed for interoperability with the majority of leading GPON OLT providers. HALNy specializes in cost-effective projects and closely collaborates with service providers to enhance their business profitability through a wide range of standard products meeting industry requirements. HALNy also offers custom projects and services, adapting to the unique needs of clients.
HALNy HL-1GE GPON offers one gigabit RJ-45 port and one optical SC/APC B+ port. The manufacturer ensures versatility in operation modes. HALNy's ONT/ONU can function as a typical Bridge (SFU) or as a router (HGU) with NAT functionality, making the device well-suited for various FTTH network scenarios.
HALNy HL-1GE devices use a single-mode fiber optic thread for broadband services. The PON interface complies with ITU-T G.984.5, providing downstream throughput of 2.5 Gb/s and upstream throughput of 1.25 Gb/s. Gigabit service is ensured through the LAN interface.
