The HALNy HL-1B is a GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) ONT (Optical Network Terminal) designed for indoor use in FTTH (Fiber to the Home) optical fiber networks. It features a 2.5-gigabit Gigabit Ethernet port and a GPON connector with SC/APC B+, enabling the full utilization of the optical fiber network's potential. The terminal is compliant with current ITU-T standards and can function as both a typical Bridge (SFU) and a router (HGU) with NAT capabilities.
HALNy HL-1B devices utilize a single-mode optical fiber for broadband services. The PON (Passive Optical Network) interface complies with ITU-T G.984.5, providing downstream throughput of 2.5 Gb/s and upstream throughput of 1.25 Gb/s. The 2.5 Gigabit service is delivered through the LAN interface. By default, the terminals have all the Layer 2 functions. The HL-1B ONT terminal also offers advanced features such as VLAN, QoS, Multicast IGMP, as well as router (HGU) and NAT functions.
Halny Networks' devices are compatible with GPON OLT (Optical Line Terminal) devices from other manufacturers, including:
