Description

Gliss WMM 5 kg – Cable Pulling Lubricant Gel

Gliss WMM is a high-quality, efficient lubricant gel designed to facilitate the pulling of power and telecommunications cables. The product is suitable for laying cables in conduits, ducts and other cable routing systems, both during manual installation and when cable pulling winches are used.

Using the gel significantly reduces friction between the cable and the surface of the conduit or duct. Gliss WMM can reduce pulling resistance by up to 80%, making installation easier while reducing the load on both the cable and the equipment used during installation work.

The product comes in the form of a white, odourless gel. Its lubricating properties are based on the presence of water and glycol. Once the water evaporates, a durable and non-invasive lubricating layer remains on the cable surface, which can also facilitate subsequent work involving the installation of additional cables.

For power and telecommunications cables

Gliss WMM is intended for use when installing cables routed through:

  • protective conduits,
  • cable ducts,
  • cable channels,
  • power installations,
  • telecommunications installations,
  • fibre optic infrastructure.

The gel helps reduce resistance during cable pulling, which is particularly important on long cable runs and in installations with multiple changes of direction.

Directions for use

Gliss WMM can be applied directly to the cable surface before pulling begins. The gel can be applied:

  • directly from the container,
  • with a brush,
  • manually using protective gloves.

The lubricant should be spread evenly over the cable surface, with particular attention paid to areas where increased friction occurs.

After the water evaporates, a layer of lubricant remains on the cable. This helps retain properties that can facilitate future installation work.

Efficient lubricant gel for professional applications

Gliss WMM has been developed for installation work requiring effective friction reduction. Lower pulling resistance can make installers’ work easier, reduce the load on cable pulling winches and minimise the risk of excessive cable tension.

The product is suitable both for the construction of new cable routes and for the expansion of existing infrastructure.

Biodegradable and non-toxic product

Gliss WMM is non-toxic and fully biodegradable. Its neutral pH of 7.0 means that the product is neither acidic nor alkaline.

The gel is also non-flammable and can be used across a wide temperature range from -15°C to +50°C.

Key advantages of Gliss WMM

  • reduces cable pulling resistance by up to 80%,
  • designed for power and telecommunications cables,
  • suitable for installation in conduits and cable ducts,
  • can be used with cable pulling winches,
  • easy to apply directly to the cable,
  • leaves a lubricating layer on the cable surface,
  • white and odourless gel,
  • fully biodegradable,
  • non-toxic,
  • non-flammable,
  • wide operating temperature range: -15°C to +50°C,
  • practical 5 kg container.

Gliss WMM 5 kg is an efficient lubricant designed for professional cable pulling applications. By significantly reducing friction, it facilitates the installation of power, telecommunications and fibre optic cables, particularly over long distances and in conduits and cable ducts.
