The FOBP plug serves to connect and protect fiber optic connections in various applications. It is ideal for joining fiber optic cables and creating branches. It can be mounted on both aerial lines and walls in telecommunication chambers. It features 2 round ports with multiplicative inserts for accommodating cables of different diameters, 4 round ports for single cables with a maximum diameter of Ø20 mm, and one oval port for uncut cables. The multiplicative inserts are available in various variants, allowing for the insertion of cables with different diameters. The membrane insert allows for the insertion of multiple cables of any diameter (maximum cable diameter Ø24 mm for a single cable). The plug can accommodate up to 144 or 288 fibers, depending on the version, with the option of additional equipment with a 9 or 18 port adapter panel. It is used in various types of FTTx telecommunication system architectures.
