Fibertechnic Micro 48F optical fiber cable for microduct installation, featuring a multi-tube design with G.652D fiber, equivalent to Micro Z-XOTKtmd.
The Fibertechnic Micro 48F Z-XOTKtmd cables are trunk cables designed for installation in microducts. They feature a lightweight construction with a small diameter of approximately 5.6mm, gel and water-blocking (WB) construction, completely dielectric, black PE jacket (0.5mm) - UV resistance, installation tensile strength of 650N, temperature range from -20°C to +70°C - equivalent to Z-XOTKtmd.
All fibers from Corning SMF-28 Ultra fiber ITU-T G652D and cable tubes are color-coded according to the IEC304 coding standard. Each tube containing up to 12 optical fibers is filled with hydrophobic gel to protect the fibers from moisture and vibrations. A ripcord embedded in the jacket facilitates the removal of the outer cable jacket. The cables are intended for installation using pneumatic methods (blowing) into 12/8mm, 14/10mm microducts.
