Cable construction The Fibertechnic mini ADSS Z-XOTKtcdDb is a lightweight single-tube cable (~10 kg/km) with a small diameter (~3.7 mm), offering high flexibility and tensile resistance. Its structure includes: Optical fibers – Fujikura FutureGuide-ACE™ fibers compliant with ITU-T G.652D/G.657A1 standards. Protective gel – fills the fiber tube, shielding fibers from moisture and vibrations. Central tube – contains optical fibers and protective gel. FRP reinforcement rods – two 0.4 mm diameter Fiber Reinforced Plastic rods embedded in the outer sheath for strength. HDPE outer sheath – made of UV-resistant, weatherproof, and mechanically durable polyethylene. Glass yarns – strengthen the cable’s structure and provide additional protection.

The cable is fully dielectric, eliminating the risk of electrical conductivity and enhancing installation safety. It also features water-blocking protection thanks to swelling hydrophobic yarns. Maximum installation tension is 800 N, with a long-term limit of 500 N.
