The Fibertechnic fiber optic cable Z-XOTKtcdD 12J with Corning SMF-28 Ultra fiber is a single-tube universal cable suitable for installation on SPAN poles up to 80 meters and in telecommunications ducts. It is reinforced with ARP rods and aramid threads.
The Fibertechnic Z-XOTKtcdD fiber optic cable is characterized by its lightweight single-tube construction (~28kg/km), high flexibility, and tensile strength despite its small diameter (~5.2mm). It features gel-filled tubing for fiber protection, a water-blocking (WB) design, HDPE coating for UV resistance, and a temperature range of -40°C to 70°C. It is reinforced with 2 ARP rods (0.9mm) and aramid threads, making it completely dielectric, equivalent to Aramid Z-XOTKtcdD. Its maximum installation tension is 1200N.
All fibers in the Corning SMF-28 Ultra fiber adhere to color coding standards according to IEC 60304. The tube can accommodate up to 12 optical fibers and is filled with hydrophobic gel to protect the fibers from moisture and vibrations. The cable core is protected from water penetration using swelling fibers. Aramid fibers provide additional structural strength, and two ARP rods are embedded in the outer HDPE layer for added reinforcement. A ripcord embedded in the jacket facilitates easy removal of the cable's outer layer. These cables are designed for installation in primary and secondary telecommunications ducts using pneumatic (blowing) and mechanical (pulling) methods, as well as for aerial installation on spans up to 80 meters.
Manufactured in Europe using fibers from American producer Corning, these cables have a minimum lifespan of 25 years with a 4-year manufacturer's warranty.
The price provided is per meter. The cable is available in spools of 2000m and 4000m.
