FIBERHOME Fiber Optic Cable
The universal fiber optic cable is a dielectric single-tube construction designed for aerial installations on spans up to 60 meters and in telecommunication ducts. It is reinforced with glass fibers and two Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FPR) rods with a diameter of 0.6 mm embedded in the outer layer. It utilizes single-mode G.652D fibers characterized by a reduced "water peak." The fibers are housed in a central tube filled with hydrophobic gel, which protects them from moisture and vibrations. The outer sheath is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) in black, making it resistant to chemical factors present in sewage, UV radiation, and low and high temperatures (from -30°C to 70°C). The outer diameter of the cable is 5.2 mm, and the maximum installation tension is 1 kN. To facilitate the removal of the outer sheath, one ripcord is used.
