Description

FiberHome Fiber Optic Cable

The FIBERHOME 288J DUCT fiber optic cable is a multi-tube construction cable (12 fibers per tube) designed for installation in telecommunication ducts. It is reinforced with glass fibers and a central Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) rod. Additionally, two ripcords are used to facilitate the removal of the outer jacket. Each tube containing the optical fibers is filled with hydrophobic gel to protect them from moisture and vibrations. Single-mode fibers compliant with the G.652D standard, known for their low water peak, are utilized. The cable is fully dielectric and characterized by high tensile and compressive strength. The outer jacket is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) in black color, providing excellent resistance to chemicals and substances commonly found in telecommunication ducts.
