FIBERHOME Optical Cable

The FIBERHOME 96J ADSS (F-ADSS-MT-96J.2.7KN-12F) optical cable is a multi-tube design (12 fibers per tube) designed for aerial installations with spans up to 80 meters. It is reinforced with a central Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) rod with a diameter of 3 mm and aramid fibers. Single-mode G.652D fibers are used, characterized by a low "water peak." The cable is completely dielectric and exhibits high tensile strength (maximum installation tension of 2.7 kN). The fibers are housed in tubes filled with hydrophobic gel to protect them from moisture and vibrations. The outer sheath is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) in black, providing resistance to UV radiation and a wide temperature range (-30°C to 70°C). Additionally, to facilitate the removal of the outer sheath, one ripcord is included. Apart from aerial networks, the F-ADSS-MT-96J.2.7KN-12F cable can be successfully deployed in telecommunication ducts.
