The FIBERHOME Fiber Optic Cable is a dielectric cable with a single-tube design intended for aerial installations on spans up to 80 meters. It's reinforced with aramid fibers and two Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FPR) rods with a diameter of 0.6 mm embedded in the outer layer. It utilizes single-mode G.652D fibers known for their reduced "water peak" (Zero Water Peak) characteristics.
The fibers are housed in a central tube filled with hydrophobic gel to protect them from moisture and vibrations. The outer jacket is made of high-density black HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) resistant to UV radiation and both low and high temperatures (from -30°C to 70°C). The cable has an outer diameter of 5.2 mm and a maximum installation tension of 1.2 kN. To facilitate outer jacket stripping, a single ripcord is included.
It's designed for aerial installation, UV resistant, and suitable for a wide range of operating temperatures.
