Description

FIBERHOME Optical Cable

The 72J ADSS optical cable is a multi-tube design (12 fibers per tube) reinforced with a central Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) rod and aramid fibers. Japanese Sumitomo G.652D optical fibers with reduced -OH ion impact (Zero Water Peak) are used. The cable is completely dielectric, characterized by very high resistance to twisting and pulling, with a maximum installation tension of 2.7 kN. Additionally, hydrophobic gel is placed in the tubes to protect the fibers from vibrations and moisture. The outer sheath is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) known for its high resistance to water, UV radiation, and high temperatures (up to 70°C). For easier removal of the outer sheath, two thin ripcords are utilized. The 72J ADSS cable is suitable for aerial networks with spans of up to 70 meters, as well as in telecommunications ducts.
