FIBERHOME Fiber Optic Cable

The FIBERHOME 48J ADSS (F-ADSS-MT-48J.2.7KN-12F) fiber optic cable is a multi-tube construction cable (12 fibers per tube) designed for aerial installation with spans of up to 80 meters. It is reinforced with a central Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) rod with a diameter of 2.5 mm and aramid fibers. Single-mode fibers of the G.652D type are used, known for their low water peak. The cable is fully dielectric and characterized by high tensile strength (maximum installation tension of 2.7 kN). The fibers are housed in tubes filled with hydrophobic gel to protect them from moisture and vibrations. The outer jacket is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) in black color, providing resistance to UV radiation, as well as low and high temperatures (from -30°C to 70°C). Additionally, one ripcord is used to facilitate the removal of the outer jacket. Apart from aerial networks, the F-ADSS-MT-48J.2.7KN-12F cable can also be used in telecommunication ducts.
