Flat Fiber Optic Cable FIBERHOME 24J ADSS is designed for aerial installations with spans up to 60 meters. The optical fibers are housed in two loose tubes filled with hydrophobic gel, which protects them from water penetration and vibrations. The outer sheath is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), black in color, resistant to UV radiation, and suitable for low and high temperatures ranging from -40°C to 70°C. The cable is reinforced with two Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) rods with a diameter of 2 mm, embedded in the outer sheath. It employs single-mode fibers of G.652D type, known for their reduced water peak, and the minimum bending radius for the cable is 90 mm (bending in one plane only). Additionally, for easier removal of the cable's outer sheath, a ripcord is included, along with special fibers acting as moisture blockers.
