The FIBERHOME 96J DUCT fiber optic cable is an advanced multi-tube design, with 12 fibers per tube, specifically designed for installation in telecommunication ducts. The optical fibers are reinforced with glass fibers and a central FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polymer) rod, ensuring excellent resistance to external conditions. To facilitate installation, the cable is equipped with two ripcords, allowing for easy removal of the outer sheath. The tube interior contains hydrophobic gel, effectively protecting the fibers from moisture and vibrations.
The cable utilizes single-mode fibers compliant with the G.652D standard, known for their reduced susceptibility to the effects of hydroxyl ions (Zero Water Peak). It is fully dielectric and characterized by high tensile and compressive strength. The outer sheath is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), providing high resistance to chemicals and substances present in telecommunication ducts.
