Additionally, there is space inside the box for installing a splitter. Depending on the preferred network construction method, cables from the splitter can be terminated using adapters mounted on the protruding frame. Alternatively, if direct splicing of client cables to splitter terminations is preferred, the frame can be detached, further enhancing configuration flexibility.
