Jonard CWP-125 are specialized cleaning swabs designed for the maintenance of fiber optic fusion splicers and precision components of optical devices. They feature sharply pointed, double-ended tips, allowing thorough cleaning of V-grooves in fiber optic fusion splicers and other hard-to-reach areas.

The swabs are made of lint-free cotton that does not leave fibers that could contaminate the cleaned surfaces. They effectively remove dust, dirt, silica deposits and residual fiber coating. Regular cleaning of V-grooves helps prevent fiber positioning errors and reduce losses during splicing.

For improved cleaning performance, the swabs can be used with FCF-3 Fiber Optic Splice & Connector Cleaner. After cleaning the V-groove, any remaining contaminants can be removed with a VGB-100 brush.
