The 4Fibers Mini OTDR Launch Cable is a professional measurement cable designed by specialists in OTDR reflectometric measurements. Thanks to the creators’ practical experience, a product was developed that guarantees the highest measurement quality and reliability in the daily work of fiber-optic network installers and service technicians.
The launch cable is made of single-mode Corning 28e+ G.652D fiber (9/125 µm) and is equipped with PREMIUM-class SC/APC – LC/UPC connectors, characterized by very low insertion loss and high reflectance. This is crucial for the precision and repeatability of OTDR measurement results.
The exceptionally lightweight and compact design is enclosed in a flexible high-density foam housing. Reinforced “tails” with steel tape and an additional LSOH polymer jacket provide high mechanical resistance and long product lifetime. The connectors are additionally protected with heat-shrink tubing and fitted with dust caps.
The launch cable features a practical carabiner for hanging and a magnetic surface that allows easy attachment to metal elements. The entire product is manufactured in the EU (in Poland) in accordance with the highest quality standards. Individual product customization is also available.
