The ZTT 24 optical fiber cable is a dielectric cable with a multi-tube construction (12 fibers per tube + 4 fillers), designed for installation in telecommunications ducts. It is reinforced with glass fibers and a central FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polymer) rod. Additionally, two ripcords are used to facilitate the removal of the outer cable sheath. Hydrophobic gel is placed in the tube containing the optical fibers to protect them from moisture and vibrations. Single-mode fibers in the G.652D standard with a reduced impact of -OH ions (Zero Water Peak) are employed. The outer jacket is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), black in color, exhibiting high resistance to chemical agents and substances found in telecommunications ducts.
