Description

The ZTT ADSS 24F (12F/T) flat cable is designed for aerial installations on spans up to 60 meters. Its outer jacket is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), black in color, resistant to UV radiation, and capable of withstanding low and high temperatures (from -40°C to 70°C). The cable is reinforced with two Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) rods, each with a diameter of 2 mm, embedded in the outer sheath.

The centrally located tube containing 12 optical fibers is filled with thixotropic gel, which protects them from water penetration and vibrations. Single-mode G.652D fibers are used, known for their reduced "water peak," and the minimum bending radius for the cable is 100 mm (possible bending in only one plane). Additionally, special fibers acting as moisture blockers and two ripcords are employed to facilitate the removal of the outer cable sheath.
