The Tracom FTTX ODU 4S fiber optic closure is a switching device equipped with 5 inlet/outlet ports. It is designed to protect fiber optic cable splices and branching applications. This type of closure is mounted on walls, both indoors and outdoors, mainly in FTTH and FTTB projects. It is engineered to ensure smooth and hassle-free installation while providing an effective fiber optic cable management system.
The closure allows for the installation of 4 SC Simplex (or LC Duplex) adapters and the organization of up to 8 splices in a single fiber tray (with double-stacked splice protectors). It comes with guides, latches, and adjustable brackets for cables and tubes, as well as a single-point hex lock. Mounting accessories and tools to facilitate splice organization are included in the kit. Made of polycarbonate (PC) and mechanically sealed, it ensures resistance to atmospheric conditions. It has an IP65 protection rating. All metal elements are made of corrosion-resistant materials.
