Description

Tracom FTTX MDU C16 is a fiber optic splice closure box equipped with 17/18 inlet/outlet ports. This type of closure is used to protect fiber optic cable splices and branching applications. The housing material, Polycarbonate (PC), is made of high-quality material resistant to UV radiation, low (-40°C) and high (+60°C) temperatures, and chemical substances, making it suitable for aerial, duct, and underground installations. It is designed to ensure uncomplicated and efficient installation while providing a reliable fiber optic cable management system. All metal elements of the closure are made of corrosion-resistant materials. The closure design includes spaces for mounting optical splitters, 2 trunk adapters, and 16 access adapters, which, combined with 16 outlet ports for client cables, can significantly streamline and shorten installation time. A new design feature is the inclusion of an oval port for self-mounting, allowing flexibility in the closure's use according to evolving needs.
