TP-Link RE305 is a dual-band signal booster (repeater) capable of operating simultaneously in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. It features a single fast Ethernet port and can also function as an access point. The repeater plugs directly into the electrical socket (EU plug). Configuration is simple and intuitive, and can be done using the Tether app available on mobile devices.

This product has two external omnidirectional antennas and supports 2x2 MIMO / dual-chain technology in both bands. It uses IEEE 802.11 b/g/n (2.4 GHz) / IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac (5 GHz) standards. As a result, it achieves a maximum theoretical throughput of 300 Mbps (2.4 GHz) / 867 Mbps (5 GHz). The repeater also supports several useful features, such as wireless transmission statistics, access control, and LED control.
