Description

The fiber optic cable for Microducts, with the symbol Z-XOTKtmsd 72J (6x12)/1.5 5.7 mm, complies with the VDE A-DQ2Y micro standard. It is an external use cable with fire reaction class CPR Fca. It features single-mode fiber type 9/125 µm SM (OS2) G.652D, with an outer sheath made of black polyethylene.

Its construction includes a central element - dielectric FRP rod, a tube with a diameter of 1.5 mm containing optical fibers, filled with thixotropic gel, and a polyethylene insert. The cable core consists of tubes or tubes and inserts twisted around the central element, composed of 6, 8, 12, 18, or 24 elements. Additionally, it is equipped with moisture sealing using a thread or a swelling yarn under the influence of moisture. It has one thread for tearing the sheath and an outer black polyethylene sheath.

Its features include a small outer diameter, fully dielectric construction, resistance to electromagnetic interference, and protection against longitudinal water penetration. The sheath is resistant to abrasion, UV radiation, and stress corrosion.

This cable is designed for local access networks of any spatial configuration, FTTH systems, mainly for microducts, and for blowing over distances up to 2000 m using blowers.

The temperature range for transport and storage is -40 °C – +70 °C, during installation -15 °C – +60 °C, and during operation the cable withstands from -30 °C to +70 °C.
