Single-tube, flat ADSS fiber optic cable 2J is designed for aerial installations with spans up to 60 meters. The outer jacket is made of polyethylene (PE) resistant to UV radiation, as well as low and high temperatures (from -30°C to 70°C). The cable is reinforced with two Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) rods with a diameter of 2 mm, embedded in the outer jacket. A centrally positioned tube with two optical fibers is filled with hydrophobic gel to protect them from water penetration. G.652D type fibers are used, characterized by a reduced "water peak", and the minimum bending radius for the cable is 60 mm (bending possible only in one plane).
