AISI 304 Stainless Steel Mounting Band 50M, Width 9.5 mm, Thickness 0.6 mm

Stainless steel mounting band is a versatile solution designed for permanent fastening of cables, wires, pipes, masts, poles, road signs, and components of telecommunications, power, and industrial infrastructure. Depending on the selected variant, the band can be made of AISI 201, AISI 430, or AISI 304 stainless steel, allowing its properties to be matched to the operating conditions and requirements of a specific installation. The band features high mechanical strength, a smooth finish, and rounded edges, which improve safety during installation and reduce the risk of damaging the fastened components.

Differences between AISI 201, 430 and 304 stainless steel

The individual steel grades differ mainly in terms of corrosion resistance, mechanical properties, and price. AISI 201 is an economical option intended mainly for less demanding applications, particularly indoors and in environments with limited exposure to moisture. AISI 430 provides good corrosion resistance in mild conditions and represents an intermediate solution. AISI 304 / 1.4301, on the other hand, offers the highest corrosion resistance of these three variants and is particularly recommended for outdoor, telecommunications, power, and industrial applications where the band is exposed to moisture, changing weather conditions, or contamination.

Versatile applications

Stainless steel mounting bands can be used wherever durable, strong, and environmentally resistant fastening is required.

They can be used, among other things, for:

  • installation of fiber optic and telecommunications cables,
  • fastening electrical wires,
  • installation of ventilation ducts,
  • fastening steel and plastic pipes,
  • installation of masts and poles,
  • fastening road signs,
  • suspending additional equipment on cable routes,

Applications in telecommunications

The mounting band is particularly useful during the construction and modernization of fiber optic networks, FTTH networks, and telecommunications infrastructure. It can be used to fasten cables, protective conduits, and additional equipment to poles, masts, and other structural components.

For outdoor installations where the material is required to retain its properties for many years, the AISI 304 stainless steel variant is particularly suitable.

Corrosion resistance

The use of different steel grades makes it possible to select a band suited to specific environmental conditions. AISI 201 is suitable for less demanding conditions, AISI 430 for environments with moderate corrosive exposure, while AISI 304 is intended for more demanding applications, including outdoor installations.

The bands can be used, among other things, in:

Safe rounded edges

The bands feature rounded edges, improving comfort and safety during installation. They reduce the risk of cuts during handling and minimize the possibility of damaging the insulation of cables and wires.

The smooth surface finish also makes the band easier to shape when creating fastenings.

High mechanical strength

The stainless steel band provides high mechanical strength and enables durable fastening. The availability of different widths and thicknesses makes it possible to select the appropriate variant according to the size of the fastened component and the required load level.
