SZS-27/120/10 FTTH 48J – Outdoor Fiber Optic Cabinet with 48 SC Ports

The SZS-27/120/10 FTTH 48J is a high-capacity outdoor fiber optic cabinet designed for installations in FTTH networks, particularly in dispersed residential areas and infrastructure projects such as KPO or FERC. The unit enables optical signal distribution to a larger number of subscribers while ensuring safe organization and protection of fiber network components.

The enclosure is made of 1 mm thick steel sheet with a Magnelis® coating, which provides very high corrosion resistance and long service life in outdoor environments. The cabinet is powder-coated in light gray (RAL 7035), ensuring an aesthetic appearance and additional protection against weather conditions.

The cabinet is designed for ground installation, mounted by embedding it approximately 60 cm into the ground, which ensures structural stability and protection of the fiber infrastructure. The construction has been designed for easy installation and convenient service access.

Inside the enclosure there is a removable fiber optic panel with a 48F patch field, allowing installation of 48 SC Simplex adapters. This large number of ports enables servicing many subscriber connections from a single distribution point.

The cabinet is also equipped with 6 SC Simplex line ports for splitters, along with a splice tray supporting 4–8 fiber splices. The well-designed internal layout ensures convenient cable routing, fiber management, and storage of cable slack.

Cable entries are protected with a brush grommet, which shields the interior from dust and contamination. The structure meets IP65 protection rating and IK10 mechanical resistance, ensuring reliable protection of the infrastructure even in demanding outdoor conditions.

Additional protection is provided by two hermetic locks with a repeatable key code, allowing access only to authorized personnel and protecting the device against unauthorized opening.
