SYNAPTIC UTP PE Category 5e cables are designed for use in computer networks, where frequency bands up to 200 MHz are utilized. They are used for transmitting data, sound, and television images at binary speeds of up to 1 Gb/s. These cables are suitable for installation in permanent structural cabling outside buildings and in industrial networks not exposed to external electromagnetic interference. They are most commonly used in external computer, telephone, alarm, and CCTV installations. The outdoor cable is dry, UV-resistant, and weatherproof, with a thick, sturdy coating. It is durable and does not require cable trays or shields.
NOTE: Dry cables are not suitable for direct burial in the ground. Gel-filled hydrophobic cables are designed for this purpose.
