The Opton Aramid Z-XOTKtcdD is a universal fiber optic cable equipped with 24 G.652.D fibers. The fibers are housed in a single central tube with a diameter of 2.4 mm. The construction has been reinforced with a large number of aramid fibers, resulting in high tensile strength of up to 600 N (installation force: 1200 N). Additional reinforcement is provided by two ARP rods with a diameter of 0.5 mm.
The outer jacket is made of high-quality HDPE, with a nominal thickness of 1.4 mm. The fiber optic cable is fully dielectric. It can be used in telecommunications ducts or aerial installations. The maximum span for aerial installation is 40 meters.
The product offered features a small diameter (approximately 5.8 mm) and weight (approximately 25 kg/km) while maintaining high durability.
Maximum span: in our Polish conditions designated as NESC Heavy (due to icing and low temperatures), the maximum span is 40 meters! Correspondingly, for lighter climatic conditions, the spans are: NESC Medium: 60 meters, NESC Light: 80 meters.
