OPTIX Saver Z-XOTKtsdDb (Glass Yarns) cable is characterized by its reduced diameter, lightweight multistrand construction, high flexibility, and resistance to tension. It features a central strengthening element (FRP rod), water-blocking gel and construction (WB), and moisture-absorbing fibers (WSY) / moisture-proof tape, making it entirely dielectric. Reinforced with glass yarn, it is coated with HDPE for UV resistance and has a temperature range of -40°C to +60°C – equivalent to Saver Z-XOTKtsdDb. The maximum installation tension is 1,500N.

All fibers and tubes of the cable are color-coded according to the eia/tia-598 coding standard. Each tube containing up to 24 optical fibers is filled with hydrophobic gel to protect the fibers from moisture and vibrations. The cable core is protected from water penetration using moisture-absorbing fibers or moisture-proof tape. The cable tubes and filling elements are twisted around the central strength element - the FRP rod. Two ripcords embedded in the jacket facilitate the removal of the outer cable sheath. These cables are designed for installation in primary and secondary telecommunications ducts using pneumatic (blowing) and mechanical (pulling) methods.
