The Optix Micro ZW-VOTKtcd cable is a family of client microduct cables designed for microtubes with an internal diameter of 2.0mm. It features a lightweight construction with a small diameter, reinforced with a 0.4mm ARP rod, gel, and water-blocking (WB) design. The cable is completely dielectric with an orange PA-12 (Nylon) jacket for protection against insects and termites. It has an installation tensile strength of 40N and an operating temperature range from -30°C to +70°C, equivalent to ZW-VOTKtcd.
All fibers and tubes in the cable are color-coded according to the EIA/TIA-598 coding standard. Each tube containing up to 12 optical fibers is filled with hydrophobic gel to protect the fibers from moisture and vibrations. The cables are designed for installation using pneumatic methods (blowing).
