OPTIX Fiber Optic Cable
OPTIX DAC Z-XOTKtcd: lightweight single-tube construction weighing approximately 30kg/km, high flexibility and tensile strength, water-blocking gel and construction (WB), HDPE sheath (orange), temperature range -20°C – 70°C, reinforced with 2 FRP rods (0.9mm), fully dielectric - equivalent to DAC Z-XOTKtcd. This is an outdoor cable designed for direct burial in the ground.
The cable's construction enables easy installation and high resistance to crushing (1000N) and stretching (1200N). All fibers of the cable are color-coded according to the coding standard. The loose tube contains up to 24 optical fibers and is filled with hydrophobic gel to protect the fibers from moisture and vibrations. To provide additional structural strength, two FRP rods are embedded in the outer HDPE layer. Two threads embedded in the jacket facilitate the removal of the outer cable sheath (ripcords). The cables are intended for connecting FTTH network customers in the last mile.
The cable is supplied on wooden spools in lengths of approximately 1000m or 4000m. Smaller quantities are delivered on wooden drums or in loose coils.
