The MikroTik netPower 15FR, also known as the Cloud Router Switch CRS318-1Fi-15Fr-2S-OUT, is a manageable 16-port outdoor switch with 15 PoE reverse ports and 2 SFP slots. It is designed for use in GPEN networks.

With the netPower 15FR switch, there is no need for expensive GPON base stations and optical splitters. GPEN provides an alternative to passive GPON/EPON networks. The switch is part of MikroTik's GPEN concept, aimed at increasing the speed and versatility of fiber optic networks while leveraging the benefits of Ethernet. It offers an easy-to-deploy, cost-effective solution for internet service providers to deliver internet access to individual apartments or residences.

The switch features 16 Fast Ethernet ports, with PoE input on 15 of them. It can be mounted on a pole, in an attic, or in a basement without worrying about power supply. By installing a router with PoE output at the subscriber's end, the netPower will operate whenever at least one client is connected. There is no need to run an additional power cable.
